Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updated 22.03.2020

As from today, March 22nd, 2020 we are suspending all holidays booked with us up to end of May 2020 (Sunday, May 31st, 2020).
We have taken the decision to suspend all bookings during this period due to the temporary restrictions put in place by the government on cafes, restaurants and bars.
Our normal walking packages will not be fully functional without these facilities. Also, we strongly feel that we need to follow the official advice not to travel anywhere unless absolutely necessary. We have to try to help our local communities in the fight against this virus.
If you have bookings within this time frame, we will be in touch with you. We are dealing with each customer individually. We are a small company, so please be patient with us.

Future bookings – June 2020 onwards

If you are travelling from abroad from June 1st onwards, please check with your relevant airlines/authorities for the latest updates re travelling.
For overseas customers, there may be some disruptions to your travel plans, as governments and organisations work to minimise the risks associated with the virus. We encourage you to stay in contact with your relevant authorities / airlines / transfer companies regarding any travelling concerns / restrictions that you may have and allow extra time for travel. All our walking holiday packages state “own arrival” to the UK and destination. You are liable for any costs / disruption associated with any changes that you have to make to your travelling arrangements (this includes changes to airlines or airports) in your own country in order to get to your holiday destination in the UK. We do not accept liability for such changes in any way.

Travel Insurance

It is a must that you have a Travel Insurance in place (from whichever country you travel). Make sure that your insurance policy covers holiday costs if you need to cancel or unable to travel.
**Please check with your own travel insurance company if you are covered for cancellation due to COVID-19.

Future Bookings

Holidays after June 1st are going ahead at the moment and our normal Terms and Conditions apply. We will be keeping a close eye on the developments over the coming days and weeks.
If you cancel more than 6 weeks before your start date, you will lose your deposit as per our normal booking conditions.
The full payment is due 6 weeks before arrival. If you have to cancel after the full payment has been paid this is how we operate.
Cancellation 41 – 29 days before the start: you pay 50% of the total cost of the holiday.
Cancellation 28 – 15 days before the start: You pay 75% of the total cost of the holiday.
Cancellation 14-0 days before the start: You pay 100% of the total cost of the holiday.

Balance Payment Delay

All our balances need to be paid 6 weeks before the start date. This enables us to pay accommodations, taxis, luggage transfer companies. If we don’t receive the full balance as per our terms and conditions, we reserve the right to cancel your holiday and our charges as per our Terms and Conditions.
